India loses its agricultural production worth over $11 billion annually to weeds says ICAR. To overcome this, WEED DETECTION using IOT enables its users to detect weeds using drones with image processing technique. For object detection, we use YOLO which is a deep learning and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), allowing it to be one of the fastest detection algorithms. The main focus of weed detection system is to replace manual labor so it eventually has to be efficient and quicker. To carry this out,we are using ResNet 50, a CNN that is trained on more than a million images from imagenet database. The network is 50 layers deep and classifies images into 1000 categories.
